The Vickersil® treatment has especially been developed for metal surfaces in contact with melted polymers

Its high hardness as its very good corrosion resistance are adapted to the majority of the applications.

During the transformation of plastic materials and elastomers, Vickersil® by its very low friction coefficient and its passivity towards polymers, is the suitable treatment to maximize your productivity.

In injection moulding or the extrusion process of polymers, Vickersil® brings significant improvements in the following fields:

Metal supports treated

Possible appication to practically all types of steel, bronze, brass and copper.
May not be applied to aluminum and Tungsten Carbide.
Temperature lower than 75°C during the treatment of the pieces.
